Mental health problems don’t define who you are. They are something you experience. You walk in the rain and you feel the rain, but you are not the rain.

Psychiatric Evaluations

Our comprehensive psychiatric evaluations cover a wide range of aspects to ensure a thorough understanding of your needs. We evaluate both previous and current psychiatric diagnoses and treatments, as well as current medical conditions and their treatments. Additionally, we consider your social environment, dietary issues, and spiritual concerns.

Most evaluations take approximately 60 to 90 minutes. While our meetings are one-on-one to maintain focus on your individual needs, we welcome you to invite others who you believe can contribute valuable insights to your evaluation. Please be assured that all information shared during your evaluation is kept private, even from those you choose to invite.

We are here to support you on your journey to a better you.

Medication Management

After your comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, we will create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs and goals. As part of this plan, medication may be recommended. At Nightingale Psychiatry, we strive to prescribe the most suitable medication for you, taking into consideration your medical issues, lifestyle, diet, and spiritual needs.

In some cases, a single medication may be sufficient to support you on your journey to better health. However, if additional medications are necessary, we aim to minimize the number of prescriptions to ensure that managing your medications is not overwhelming or difficult between sessions. We also offer medication bridges between appointments to ensure continuity of treatment.

We will always explain the goals of any prescribed medications and inform you about potential side effects. Our supportive and reassuring environment is designed to make your experience with medication management as comfortable as possible

THERAPY

At Nightingale Psychiatry, we understand that not all obstacles on your journey to a better you can be addressed with medication alone. We believe that the best path to recovery involves a combination of medication (when needed) and therapy. We strongly encourage our clients to also work with a therapist to achieve the best possible results on their journey.

LIFE COACHING

If you are unable to find a therapist, Nightingale Psychiatry can provide therapeutic support while you search. We offer an eclectic blend of life coaching that includes Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, and Holistic Therapy.

CONSULTATIONS

At Nightingale Psychiatry, we understand that taking the first step towards seeking mental health care can be daunting. That's why we offer complimentary phone consultations to all new patients. This initial conversation provides a safe, confidential space for you to discuss your concerns, ask questions, and learn more about our services. Our goal is to ensure that you feel comfortable and informed before making any decisions about your mental health journey.
