Nightingale Psychiatry

Nightingale Psychiatry

As a child, I wandered the sun-kissed fields of our Tennessee farm, where life’s rhythms extended beyond the horizon and could be heard through the whispers of the wind. I guess from a young age, I have always thought that life healing transcends prescriptions—it’s about nurturing the soul.

Eventually my life rhythm led me to Georgia, where I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in psychology. There, I learned how to unravel the intricate threads that weave our thoughts and emotions. But my quest didn’t end with textbooks; it ignited a fire within me. Driven by a desire to make a tangible impact, I pursued dual master’s degrees—one in social work from Boston College and the other in nursing from Yale School of Nursing. I have been a psychiatric nurse practitioner since 2009. All of my life experiences, education, and trainings have allowed me to be a bridge helping others utilizing clinical expertise with empathy. From the quiet corners of hospital rooms to the memories of open spaces of my family’s farm - I learned that healing blooms where science meets compassion.

At Nightingale Psychiatry, we defy sterility. Our practice extends beyond four walls; it embraces the warmth of sunlight and the touch of a gentle breeze to deliver a blend of psychopharmacology, evidence-based care, tailored treatment plans, and therapy to meet you where you are on your life’s journey. Here, we honor each individual’s journey—a journey toward resilience and growth.
